Congress has voted to claw back previously approved funds for public media stations across the country, including Kansas Public Radio.

Kansas Public Radio is delighted to introduce Matthew Algeo as our new local Morning Edition host. Matthew has deep roots in public radio and will begin hosting KPR's morning newscast on Memorial Day, May 26.

As the seasons continue to change, KPR is here with a fresh update to our Sunday programming schedule!

This semester, we have five wonderful KU students interning at KPR and Audio-Reader: Gracie Hughes, Caroline Blanke, Tyler Burkett, Kacie Fuller, and Anna Campbell. They have all been an asset to our organizations, and have used their individual education, experience, and personalities to bring something new to our team.

Bob McWilliams has been awarded the Governor's Arts Award for Excellence in Artistic Achievement, for his many years of supporting the music scene in Kansas.
