Kansans Who Drink from Private Wells are Largely Blind to Possible Contamination

The federal government requires public drinking water to meet strict quality guidelines. But if you’re one of the 150 thousand Kansans who get their drinking water from a private well, you’re on your own - no testing requirements exist. In this report from the Kansas News Service, we hear how poor groundwater quality is putting the health of some Kansans at risk -- and what some health experts think the state should do about it.
