  • A report this week paints a negative economic picture for the Midwest and Plains states. The monthly economic survey of nine states comes from Creighton (CRAY-ton) University in Omaha. The report moved the economic outlook down from neutral to negative. Economics Professor Ernie Goss compiled the survey. 00000184-7fa7-d6f8-a1cf-7fa7a5280000It's the first time the survey has moved into negative territory since 2009. Despite the numbers, Goss does not predict a second recession.
