Conversations: Mary Higgins Clark, "You Don't Own Me"

On this edition of Conversations, I'll talk with Mary Higgins Clark. There are more than one hundred million copies of her 37 suspense novels and other books in print in the United States alone. With co-author Alafair Burke, she has written four novels in the "Under Suspicion" series featuring the character Laurie Moran. She joins us to talk about the latest novel in that series, You Don’t Own Me.


Conversations: Tammy Lynne Stoner, "Sugar Land"

On this edition of Conversations, Tammy Lynne Stoner talks about her debut novel, Sugar Land. The story spans multiple decades and was inspired in part by the story of blues singer Lead Belly. It has been described as a southern fried novel, that is both heartbreaking and hilarious. Stoner's writing has appeared in numerous literary journals and she has two other novels in the works.


Conversations: David Baldacci, "Long Road to Mercy"

On this edition of Conversations, David Baldacci talks about his latest novel, Long Road to Mercy. The book begins a new series of novels featuring FBI agent Atlee Pine. Baldacci also discusses the Wish You Well Foundation, which he and his wife founded to fight illiteracy. Baldacci's books are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with over 130 million worldwide sales. His works have been adapted for both feature film and television.


Conversations: Patrick Flores-Scott, "American Road Trip"

On this edition of Conversations, Patrick Flores-Scott talks about his second young adult novel, American Road Trip. Fores-Scott says his path to becoming an author was unusual because he has struggled with his ability to read. His first novel, Jumped In, received multiple awards and recognitions for Young Adult Fiction.

On this edition of Conversations, Rachel Renée Russell talks about the 13th installment in the Dork Diaries series, Tales from a Not-So-Happy Birthday. Russell is a former attorney turned #1 New York Times bestselling author of the blockbuster book series, Dork Diaries, which has over 38 million copies in print in 40 languages.

Deborah Harkness talks about her latest novel, Time’s Convert, on this edition of Conversations. Harkness is the bestselling author of the All Souls Trilogy: A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night, and The Book of Life. When not writing bestselling novels, she is a history professor at the University of Southern California.
