Iraqi refugees

  • If and when the United States starts accepting Syrian refugees into the country, one agency will almost certainly be involved: Catholic Charities. It's one of the oldest and largest agencies contracted by the U.S. State Department to help resettle those seeking refuge in America. Hear from Ken Williams, one of the leaders of this Christian organization.
  • Catholic bishops in Kansas are walking a fine line on the Syrian refugee crisis. Church leaders have offered their support for the plight of Syrian refugees but have been reluctant to openly criticize the Catholic governor of the state, Sam Brownback, for his executive order designed to keep Syrian refugees out of the state.
