In Session: News from the Kansas Statehouse with Stephen Koranda and J. Schafer (and sometimes Jim McLean!)

Kansas lawmakers are still trying to come up with a plan to fund public schools - and one that will satisfy a court order to distribute that money more equitably. To learn more, KPR's J. Schafer spoke to Statehouse reporter Stephen Koranda, for this installment of, "In Session: News from the Kansas Statehouse."

That's Stephen Koranda, KPR's Statehouse Bureau Chief, speaking with News Director J. Schafer. Kansas lawmakers are expected to work on a number of bills this week - including school finance legislation - before taking a month-long break.

J. Schafer is the News Director of Kansas Public Radio. He’s also the Managing Editor of the Kansas Public Radio Network, which provides news and information to other public radio stations in Kansas and Missouri.
