Week of February 21, 2010: It's a conversation with Nancy Pickard, the author of "The Virgin of Small Plains." This tale of a mysterious death in the Flint Hills originally aired in August 2009, when it was selected as the "Kansas Reads" book by the Kansas Center for the Book at the State Library of Kansas. We'll also remember Glenn Price, KANU's first chief announcer when we first took the air in 1952. Price passed away January 17, 2021.
