On this edition of Conversations, Leigh Lewis talks with host Dan Skinner about her latest book for National Geographic, “Pirate Queens: Dauntless Women Who Dared Rule the High Seas.” The book features six female pirates from different times and cultures including Ching Shih, a Chinese pirate who presided over a fleet of 80,000 men. (The famous Blackbeard only commanded 400.)
