Conversations: Michelle Commander, "Unsung: Unheralded Narratives of American Slavery & Abolition"

On this edition of Conversations, Michelle D. Commander talks with host Dan Skinner about “UNSUNG: Unheralded Narratives of American Slavery & Abolition.” Commander is Associate Director and Curator of the Lapidus Center at Harlem, New York’s Schomburg Center. The book features slave and abolition narratives that provide a bigger picture of slaves' lives and efforts to end slavery. 

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
