Conversations: Tammy Lynne Stoner, "Sugar Land"

On this edition of Conversations, Tammy Lynne Stoner talks about her debut novel, Sugar Land. The story spans multiple decades and was inspired in part by the story of blues singer Lead Belly. It has been described as a southern fried novel, that is both heartbreaking and hilarious. Stoner's writing has appeared in numerous literary journals and she has two other novels in the works.

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
