You've seen the Van Go art benches around town, but the Van Go programs encompass much more. On this edition of Conversations, I talk with Lynne Green, the founder and Executive Director of Van Go. The organization was formed 20 years ago as a mobile arts outreach to underserved 8-18 year olds. Since then, Van Go has grown into a nationally recognized, arts-based employment program for at-risk teens and young adults, 18-24. Green talks about the history of the organization, the services they offer to young people in Douglas County, and yes, we'll talk about those beautiful benches as well.
