Jim Ogle is the Executive Director of the Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area. He explains how the events that happened in the 29 eastern Kansas and 12 western Missouri counties that make up the Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area led to the Civil War and an enduring struggle for freedom.
