"Gloam" - A Scary but Life Affirming Novel for 8-12 Year-Old Readers

On this edition of Conversations Jack Mackay talks with host Dan Skinner about "Gloam," a heart-warming middle-grade horror novel. Jack Mackay is a writer, theater-maker and horror enthusiast. The dust jacket information says Jack has been writing stories since he was four years old, but this is the first one that was any good. “Gloam” is his debut novel and a second horror novel is coming soon.

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
