"The Quiet Part Out Loud" - A Contemporary Retelling of "Orpheus and Euridice"

On this edition of Conversations, Deborah Crossland talks with host Dan Skinner about her debut novel, “The Quiet Part Out Loud.” Crossland teaches English and mythology at her local community college and writes myth-based, contemporary novels with a feminist bent for young adults. This novel is a contemporary retelling of the Orpheus and Euridice story from Greek mythology.

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
