"There Goes the Neighborhood" - A Novel About Resisting Gentrification

On this edition of Conversations, Jade Adia talks with host Dan Skinner about her debut novel, "There Goes the Neighborhood." Born and raised in South LA, Adia writes stories about gentrification, Black teen joy, and the negative side-effects of capitalism. Her academic background includes studies in Ethnicity, Race & Migration, and Human Rights, as well as recently graduating from law school.

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
