Wet and wintry weather may be in store for eastern Kansas this weekend. Meteorologist Matt Wolters, with the National Weather Service in Topeka, says they're tracking two different rounds of precipitation over the next few days.
Wolters says less rain and more winter-like weather is expected Sunday night and Monday, when there's a better chance for snow than freezing rain. And what about the weather tonight? The forecast says mostly cloudy skies are expected, but Wolters doesn't think that will be a problem for Santa and his reindeer.
That's Matt Wolters, one of Santa's elves, working tonight (THUR) at the National Weather Service in Topeka.
