KU Volleyball Team; Final Four Bound

For the first time in program history, the University of Kansas volleyball team has advanced to the Final Four. After cleaning up the competition in San Diego, the Jayhawks are now headed to Omaha for the NCAA's Final Four showdown. KU takes on Nebraska in the national semi-finals this Thursday. Last (SUN) night, fans welcomed the team back home to Lawrence. KPR's J. Schafer was there and files this report.

KU Volleyball Team Advances to Final Four /  #1

For the first time ever, the KU volleyball team is headed to the Final Four. The ninth-seeded Jayhawks upset the top-seeded Trojans of USC over the weekend at the NCAA tournament in San Diego. Last (SUN) night, fans welcomed the Jayhawks back to their home-court for a victory celebration. Coach Ray Bechard (BUH-shard) said they were tired from the long flight home, but also excited about the next match.


The KU volleyball team takes on Nebraska this Thursday in Omaha in the national semi-finals. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

KU Volleyball Team Bound for the Final Four / #2

The University of Kansas volleyball team is just two wins away from a national championship. Over the weekend in San Diego, the Jayhawks advanced to the Final Four by knocking-off USC, the top overall seed in the NCAA tournament. Coach Ray Bechard (BUH-shard) says it's been a great ride so far.


 

The Jayhawks take on Nebraska this Thursday in Omaha in the national semi-finals. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
