After an amazing run through the NCAA volleyball tournament, in which the Kansas Jayhawks knocked-off the tournament's top seed, the season has come to an end for KU. The Jayhawks fell to Nebraska Thursday night in the semifinals.

The University of Kansas volleyball team is set to take on Nebraska in the NCAA's Final Four competition in Omaha tonight (THUR), likely in front of a very pro-Nebraska crowd.

For the first time in school history, the University of Kansas volleyball team has advanced to the Final Four. The Jayhawks will face Nebraska Thursday at the national semi-finals in Omaha.

The KU Volleyball team is on fire this year, on track to have their best season ever. But things weren't always this good. And there was a time when Coach Ray Bechard's future was in doubt. Not firing him may turn out to be one of the best decisions the athletics department ever made.
