Jenkins, the fifth highest- ranking member of the House majority, also emphasized the ability of women to excel in leadership positions.

Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins emphasized the role of women in community leadership yesterday (SUN), when she delivered the Dole Lecture at the University of Kansas. Jenkins, a high-ranking Republican in the U.S. House, also highlighted some of the challenges of a career in public office.
