All six members of the Kansas congressional delegation signed a letter protesting a move of Guantanamo Bay detainees to the military prison at Fort Leavenworth.

Attorneys general from Kansas, Colorado and South Carolina have written President Barack Obama, telling him not to transfer Guantanamo Bay detainees to their states because doing so would make terrorist targets out of their states.

President Obama has pushed to close the detention center in Cuba. If that happens, Fort Leavenworth could house the alleged terrorists.
