A new documentary celebrates the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve in the Flint Hills of Chase County. The documentary, produced by KPR contributor Dave Kendall (of public TV fame), is called: Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve: A Flint Hills Love Story. This year marks the 85th anniversary of a plane crash in the Kansas Flint Hills that claimed the lives of eight men, including Knute Rockne, Notre Dame's legendary football coach.
