The Jayhawks and the Tigers both won their first round matches Thursday against Missouri State and Furman University. Now the Missouri-Kansas rivals and will face each other at the Horejsi Center in Lawrence this (FRI) evening. The winner will move on to the NCAA Division 1 Volleyball Regional Championships in San Diego next week.

It's the most important test yet for the 19-and-0 Jayhawks volleyball team.

There will be no rematch between the University of Kansas and Kansas State University in men's basketball this season because the Wildcats lost their match-up against TCU Wednesday night in the Big 12 Tournament.

KU could win the title outright with a victory against the Mountaineers.
