Medicaid Expansion Bill Advances in Kansas Legislature, but Will it Matter?

Kansas lawmakers are a step closer to passing a Medicaid expansion bill. If that happens, there could be a showdown with Republican Governor Sam Brownback, who is opposed to the bill. A legislative committee voted yesterday (THUR) to send the bill on to the full Senate.  Jim McLean, with the Kansas News Service, reports.
