Former Malawi President Joyce Banda

Dr. Joyce Banda at Kansas State University

Week of March 10, 2019: We celebrate Women's History Month with the first female president of Malawi, Dr. Joyce Banda. Banda, who served from 2012 to 2014, recently announced that she'll run again for president in 2020. Banda spoke at Kansas State University's Landon Lecture Series on January 29, 2018.
