October 18, 2015: Acclaimed journalist and political insider Bill Moyers talks about his time working for President Lyndon B. Johnson and similarities between LBJ and President Harry Truman. It's "A Tale of Two Presidents: History Takes Time," sponsored by the Truman Library Institute and the Bennett Forum on the Presidency, recorded at Kansas City's Unity Temple on the Plaza. This is the second part of Moyers' talk, where he was joined by former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey (D-Nebraska) to talk about the presidency and politics today. The Truman Library Institute is the nonprofit partner of the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum.
Moyers will return to Kansas City next month to give the 2015 Bennett Forum, joined by presidential historian Doris Kearnes Goodwin.
