To Kill a Mockingbird

image of To Kill a MockingbirdHarper Lee's classic is this year's "Read Across Lawrence" selection, with numerous events and movie viewings at the Lawrence Public Library and across town, as well as a stage production at Theater Lawrence (formerly the Lawrence Community Theater). Kaye McIntyre's your host as we look at the story behind To Kill a Mockingbird, 8:00 Sunday evening on Kansas Public Radio.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, This American Life, and The Moth Radio Hour. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents, which changed its name in 2025 to Prairie Journal. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
