This week's guests come to life through the talents of Kansas historians Ann Birney, Karen Ray, and Joyce Thierer.

She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents, which changed its name in 2025 to Prairie Journal. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
