Austrian-born composer Max Steiner moved to Hollywood in 1929 and became one of the first composers to write music scores for films. He's often referred to as "the father of film music." On this week's Film Music Friday, it's an encore broadcast of our tribute to Max Steiner, with excerpts from his scores for King Kong, Gone with the Wind, Adventures of Don Juan, Casablanca and many more.
