The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 10 o'clock tonight (THUR) through 10 o'clock tomorrow (FRI) morning.
*Temperatures are expected to drop to between 30 and 32 degrees in the warned area tonight.
*Freezing temperatures could kill outdoor plants, sensitive vegetation and crops.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. Those with agricultural interests should take action to protect vegetation and crops from the cold temperatures. The Freeze Warning affects Marshall, Riley, Geary, Morris and other counties in the purple shaded area of the map.
