Emporia Hosts the 1st Halfway to Everywhere Festival

Music, film and art fans are preparing for a full day of entertainment Saturday in downtown Emporia. The Halfway to Everywhere Music and Arts Festival is collaborating with the No Coast Film Festival to present a day of music, food and film throughout downtown Emporia….and it’s all free! The Halfway to Everywhere Festival is being presented by the non-profit group Kansas Free for Arts. KPR’s Tom Parkinson spoke with Executive Director Hank Osterhout and asked him about the very diverse line-up of musicians for Saturday's event.
