Most people know Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a great civil rights leader and Nobel peace prize winner. But his eldest daughter Yolanda knew him as “Daddy.” The late Yolanda King, who died in 2007, wrote about her childhood and today, as we celebrate Dr. King’s birthday, Wichita-based storyteller Tasleem Muqtasid reads an excerpt from Yolanda King’s memories of her father.
