There's some good news for drivers as 2015 comes to an end. Gas prices are lower than they have been since before the Great Recession began in 2008. Triple A's Jim Hanni says it's extraordinary for the retail price to remain so low for so long.
The average price for a gallon of regular in Kansas is $1.75, the second lowest in the country. Only Missouri has a lower price at the gas pump.
