Police: Man Fatally Shot Employer Near KU Medical Center

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Kansas City, Kansas, police were looking for a man they say fatally shot his boss outside a medical office building near University of Kansas Medical Center. WDAF-TV reports police were called to the scene just blocks from the Missouri state line at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday. Police spokesman Patrick McCallop says an employee of First Class Medical Transportation who had an ongoing feud with his boss pulled out a gun and shot him. McCallop says investigators don't know what the dispute was about. The shooting happened near the rear entrance of the University of Kansas Hospital's Rehabilitation Center. Police say the two men were driving patients back and forth to the facility, but it was unclear if any were in the vehicles at the time of the shooting.
