The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Kansas through tomorrow (SUN).  Earlier predictions of 3-6 inches of snow have been downgraded to 1-4 inches of accumulation, but slick road conditions are being blamed for several automobile accidents across the state.  The Advisory remains in effect until noon tomorrow (SUN) for Anderson, Brown, Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Jackson, Jefferson, Lyon, Morris, Nemaha, Osage, Ottawa, Pottawatomie, Riley, Shawnee, and Wabaunsee counties.  It continues until 6 pm tomorrow (SUN) for the entire Kansas City metro area, and Atchison, Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami, and Wyandotte counties.  The Winter Winter Advisory also includes much of western and central Missouri.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
