Severe Weather Awareness Week in Kansas: Preparedness Is Key

This week, the National Weather Service and regional emergency officials have been encouraging people to think about weather safety and preparedness. Jillian Rodrigue (ROAD-rig) is with Douglas County Emergency Management. She says Severe Weather Awareness week isn't designed to frighten anyone -- it's designed to help members of the community work together and share their experiences to make better decisions in times of crisis.
