KPR Presents: Elizabeth Bunce, "Premeditated Myrtle"

Week of July 4, 2021: Meet Myrtle Hardcastle, the heroine of Premeditated Myrtle, winner of the prestigious Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery. Our 2021 Kansas Notable Book series continues with YA author Elizabeth Bunce of Lenexa. Also, Part One of "Where It Hurts," exploring the closing of the only hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. "Where It Hurts" is a production of KHN(Kaiser Health News) and is hosted by Kansas native Sarah Jane Tribble.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
