Just Food provides meals for more than 12,000 people a year in Douglas County.

↵As a performer, Lawrence singer/songwriter Kelley Hunt is used to singing for her supper.  This Friday, she'll be singing her heart out to feed others.  The 2nd annual "Dance of Hearts" concert is a benefit for Just Food, the Douglas County food bank.  For much of the year, Hunt is on the road, playing her music around the world.  But as KPR's Tom Parkinson discovered, Hunt looks forward to returning to her hometown.

Tom Parkinson is the host of KPR's Morning Edition.
