The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 11 p.m. this (FRI) evening through 9 a.m. Saturday.

*Temperatures are expected to drop to between 29 and 32 degrees in the warned area this morning and then again tonight.

*Freezing temperatures could kill outdoor plants, sensitive vegetation and crops.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. Those with agricultural interests should take action to protect vegetation and crops from the cold temperatures. Such cold conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
