Report: KanCare Expansion Would Provide Mental Healthcare to 34,000 Kansans

A new report says if Kansas expanded Medicaid, it could help 34,000 uninsured residents who have mental illness or substance abuse disorders. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, that would be just one benefit of expanding eligibility for KanCare, the state's Medicaid program. Heartland Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson has more.
