The 2016 session of the Kansas Legislature has reached its midway point. Turnaround Day, the deadline for bills to get passed by at least one chamber, was last week. With few exceptions, any bills not already approved by the House or Senate are now dead for the session, including a measure that would have legalized marijuana oil for the treatment of seizures.
