The Kansas City Power & Light District, in collaboration with PNC Bank, will debut a brand-new community event designed with families in mind. The inaugural PNC Family Fun Day will bring hands-on fun, live entertainment and learning opportunities for families and kids of all ages. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, in the heart of the Power & Light District, on Walnut Street between 13th and 14th, and on 14th Street between Grand and Main.

PNC Family Fun Day will transform the Power & Light District into a lively hub of family-friendly activities. The celebration will feature:

● Interactive live entertainment from Drum Safari and a live Kid DJ

● Hands-on activities with craft stations, inflatables and carnival-style games

● A special Touch-A-Truck experience

● Engaging experiences from Science City’s mobile science lab

● A petting zoo, pony rides and a magic show

● Meet and greets with Sesame Street’s Elmo, happening hourly from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
