A La Mode is the improvisational musical duo of Jesica Poell and Clayton Delong, who bring an authentic, swinging sound that blends French and Gypsy jazz styles!

Jesica is the lead vocalist and attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO where she pursued a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She returned to Kansas City at the age of 22 where she started her career as a working musician and has been in the industry ever since. She has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, The Country Club Plaza Art Fair, The Folly, and Arrowhead Stadium.

Clayton, born in California, was raised in Kansas City, MO and began playing the violin at age 12. Soon after, Clayton would switch his musical interests to the guitar and avidly pursued a career as a professional guitarist. Working towards a degree in jazz guitar at the University of Kansas City, Conservatory of Music, Clayton studied local greats like Rod Fleeman, Danny Embrey, Doug Niedt, Micheal Pagán, and Bobby Watson. He has performed and toured in various bands across the nation.
