This community conversation will feature an educational presentation and community discussion about the City’s budget, debt, and capital investments. This is an opportunity for our community to come together to
- better understand the City's financial situation,
- share our priorities and concerns with each other, and
- compile our community’s feedback and share it with City staff and elected officials to inform their budget deliberations this year.

This event will include
- An educational presentation about the City’s budget, debt, and investments - by Holly Krebs, our lead budget researcher
- A video about the City’s capital investments - by Commissioner Brad Finkeldei
- Questions and answers - with Krebs and Kristine Polian, our municipal finance expert
- Small-group discussions for participants to express their concerns and suggestions for the City's budget
- A survey to capture additional feedback
