A:  Spencer Tracy

Spencer Bonaventure Tracy was born in 1900 in Milwaukee, Wis. Later, his parents moved to Kansas City and enrolled the young Spencer in school at St. Mary’s College, a boarding school in St. Marys, Kan. He spent less than a year at St. Mary’s College.

Spencer Tracy is one of the few actors to win back-to-back Oscars for Best Actor. He did so in 1937 (Captains Courageous) and in 1938 (Men of Boys Town)
