With a single raffle ticket, you could win this year's Douglas County CASA playhouse! CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates. These advocates are trained volunteers who help abused and neglected children navigate through the court system when they have been removed from a home, through no fault of their own. As of this week (June 7), the CASA barn playhouse is on display at The Merc (9th & Iowa) in Lawrence. Raffle tickets to win the playhouse are available at The Merc, the Douglas County CASA office and other locations.
