On this edition of Conversations, Jonathan Alderfer joins us to talk about his most recent book, the second edition of National Geographics Kids Bird Guide of North America. Alderfer is an artist, author, and editor, who has specialized in painting birds and natural history subjects for more than thirty years. He has authored, edited, or illustrated more than twenty books for the National Geographic Society, including the best-selling Field Guide to the Birds of North America (7th edition), Birding Essentials, Backyard Guide to the Birds of North America, and Complete Birds of North America.
