On this edition of Conversations, James Shapiro talks with host Dan Skinner about about his latest book,  Shakespeare in a Divided America: What his Plays Tell Us about Our Past and Our Future. Shapiro is a Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University, where he has taught since 1985. He has written several award-winning books on Shakespeare.
