Tax relief wouldn’t cost the state anything, according to its Republican backers. But if lawmakers reject it, the leader of the Kansas Senate says the state would take a hit. Kansas state Senate President Susan Wagle explains to Jim McLean of the Kansas News Service why she thinks the state needs to help out some big companies with the taxes on their foreign earnings.
