Kansas Public Radio - Your Place for News, Music and Entertainment!

Kansas Public Radio (formerly known as KANU FM) has been serving eastern Kansas since September 15, 1952.

In the early days, the University of Kansas -- along with the state and federal government -- provided most of the support for this station. But over the years, that's changed. Now, listeners represent the single largest source of our financial support.

So, if you're one of the 118,000 weekly listeners who tune in to KPR for news, music and entertainment... we encourage you to contribute to this station.

Among other things, KPR and its news reporting partners, like the Kansas News Service, keep a watchful eye on state government in Kansas. We think that's worth doing. And, worth supporting.

The average annual contribution to Kansas Public Radio is approximately $120. That's roughly $10 a month. Just 33 cents a day.
