Kansas Senate and House Must Reconcile Very Different School Funding Plans

Deliberations over a deal on Kansas school funding begin in earnest today (FRI) at the state capital. The Senate passed a bill yesterday (THUR) but the House is supporting a plan to spend nearly twice as much on education funding. Now the two chambers must come to a compromise that will satisfy the state Supreme Court. Celia Llopis-Jepsen of the Kansas News Service has details.
